Strange experiences?

My first supernatural experiences began when I was a toddler. Every night after my parents would put me to bed, I would see dark figures standing around my bed, staring at me. Some of them resembled friends/family members but I knew they weren’t real. They just stood there smiling at me but they never seemed threatening, so I learned to sleep with them there. At least once a week, I would experience Sleep Paralysis and feel/see a demonic figure on top of me in bed, keeping me from moving. At such a young age, I just figured they were meaningless nightmares.

I have experienced sleep paralysis at least 5 times in the past few years. Each experience is accompanied by visions (either real or rake, idk) of a demon. He is always this huge black faceless figure, but I can tell he’s demonic. He never laughs or says anything. He just seems furious with me.

I think in high school I had my first out-of-body experience. I rolled over and suddenly I had walked through my bedroom door. The big black figure was in the hallway staring at me, and suddenly I couldn’t move. I was falling backwards to the floor, paralyzed, and suddenly I was back in my bed.

I know it happened again recently, but it was so terrifying that I guess I blocked it from my mind. I don’t remember the details.

About 2 months ago, I was falling asleep but not completely asleep. I dreamed that this small, impish figure was on my bed, sitting on it’s knees next to my head. He was just staring at me, and then he began laughing and jumping up and down hard on the bed. I woke up suddenly, and my bed was shaking, as though he had really been jumping.

When I got my back surgery about 4 years ago, they had me on a morphine drip for a few days. Really trippy weird things happened, but I’m not sure if it was real or just the morphine. Everytime I would go to sleep, I would be walking around the hospital wanting to go home. I would walk down the hall and point out to the nurses “um hellooo I’m up and walking around, can I go home now?” but no one would notice me. Once, my mom came in my hospital room with a giant gift basket that my aunt had brought. She described everything that was in the basket in detail, since I was confined to the hospital bed and couldn’t sit up to look at it. I remember being annoyed and saying “Uhh yeah mom I’m not stupid, I can see what’s in the basket” and I also remember expressing my enthusiasm and gratitude. It was an awesome gift. Months later, the gift basket came up in conversation. My mom told me that when she brought me the gift, I just stared at her, motionless, without saying a word.

Now I’m learning that sleep paralysis, demons, and out of body experiences may be linked together and I think it’s really interesting. Terrifying, but fascinating.

I will add that a couple months ago, when I started to research this stuff, I began praying every night and I have not had any scary experiences since.
